What is Dryarn®?

Dryarn® is an innovative, ultra-light fiber specifically developed for high-performance socks. The material quickly wicks moisture, dries fast, and is naturally breathable and antibacterial. This keeps your feet fresh, dry, and comfortable, even during long days or intense activities.

Which compression socks are suitable for horse riding?

For horse riding, we recommend our knee-high hiking socks. They provide a stable and comfortable fit inside riding boots.

Are Merino wool socks warm?

Merino wool is known for its smart temperature regulation. It keeps your feet warm in cold conditions, while remaining comfortable in milder weather. It is also breathable, odor-resistant, and soft on the skin. Due to its temperature regulation, the socks are not excessively warm.

What is the difference in function between knee-high socks and ankle socks?

Knee-high compression socks support the entire lower leg, from ankle to calf, and optimally stimulate blood circulation. This makes them ideal for sports, travel, or long days of standing or sitting.
Ankle socks provide targeted compression around the foot and ankle, offering comfort and stability. They are therefore especially suitable for daily use and lighter activities.

What is the difference between men’s and women’s socks?

The main difference is in the fit. Women’s socks are slightly narrower at the foot and ankle, but wider at the calf and slightly shorter than men’s socks. Men’s socks are slightly longer and have a wider, larger foot. The sizing is also different. The compression and functionality are otherwise the same, so it’s no problem for men to wear women’s socks and vice versa.

What is the difference between Travel and Everyday socks?

Travel socks are designed for situations where you sit still for long periods, such as flights or long journeys. They stimulate blood circulation and help prevent swelling. Our Travel socks contain a high percentage of merino wool for optimal comfort.

Everyday socks are designed for daily use. They support your legs throughout the day without compromising comfort. We offer Everyday socks in both merino wool and cotton. The main differences are the materials, and Travel socks are extra soft for added comfort.

Can I buy a single sock instead of a pair?

No, our socks are sold in pairs. Only our Medical Thigh High Stocking is sold individually.

What size am I?

Our socks come in 3 sizes for both men and women. Some of our socks come in 4 sizes. The sizes are based on 2 measurements: your regular shoe size and your calf circumference, measured around the widest part of your calf. It’s easy to choose your size using the 'What's my size?’ tool on the product page after selecting a sock. If you are between sizes please contact our sales team support@stoxenergy.com who’ll be happy to advise you.

What's the difference between the Sports Socks and Sports Calf Sleeves?

What's the difference between the Sports Socks and Sports Calf Sleeves?

Calf sleeves are mainly used for intensive workouts where your legs and feet move around a lot, jumping, squatting etc. The compression effect on the calves is the same. The advantage of the full socks is that they also stabilize your ankles.
