How to put on stockings
HOW TO PUT ON STOCKINGS?
Wear your support stockings immediately after standing up until you go to bed for an optimal therapeutic effect. Make sure your leg has dried properly after showering before putting on the support stockings. The support stocking is easiest to put on a dry leg.
There are three types of support stockings: a knee stocking, a groin stocking and a panty. Check which type you have.
If your compression stocking is a knee stocking , go to step 2.1.
If your support stocking is a groin stocking, go to step 2.2.
If your support stocking is a panty , go to step 2.3.
STEP 2.1: ATTRACT A KNEE SOCKS
Follow the steps below to make the support stockings as good as possible:
1. Grab the heel on the inside between thumb and forefinger and turn the stocking up to the foot inside out. Only the shaft is now reversed and the foot part stays inside the stocking.
2. Pull the opening apart with both hands and pull the foot part over your foot, up to the instep. Pay attention! Place your heel in the right spot in the support stockings.
3. Slide the leg section evenly upwards without twisting the support stockings, pulling at the edges or extending too much length.
4. Evenly distribute the support stockings with two hands over your leg until the support stockings are without any wrinkles or wrinkles around your leg.
STEP 2.2: PUT ON A GROIN STOCKING
-
Follow steps 1 to 4 as described when putting on the knee stocking .

Tighten the support stockings up to the femur so that the upper band stays in place.

Pull the support tights until the upper waist reaches your waist. Then stretch the tights firmly and evenly around your body for a snug fit.
